About Sheba Mason

"In fact, her sardonic humor, reminiscent of Jackie Mason's
sense of comedy, her impeccable timing and her inner abiity to cause a roomful of people in a cabaret-style atmosphere to laugh at her short-comings was admirable..."

Jackie Can’t Take a Joke  May 5, 2012     Jackie Mason’s love child Sheba Mason, 26, says   her father recently accosted her on the street to object to her stand-up act. “I have a joke,  ‘Sometimes I wish a better-looking comedian was my father,’ ” Sheba told us, “like    Woody               Allen or Rosie O’Donnell.” She said Mason spotted her on the street and declared, “I hear you’re   lousing me up in your act! Calling me ugly.” Sheba, who performs weekly at New York Comedy Club and in a musical about her parents, “702 Punchlines & Pregnant,” says the incident was “progress . . . At least he knows who I am.” Her mom, Ginger Reiter, e-mailed, “After having nothing to do with her for her entire life, [Jackie] starts criticizing her for mentioning him in her act.” Of Mason’s recent altercation with his gal pal, Kaoru Suzuki-McMullen, Sheba joked, “At least he’s still having sex. Although she woke up, found him sleeping and accused him of cheating. He wasn’t cheating with a woman... he was cheating with IKEA.”

"According to my mother, they had a passionate love affair filled
with laughter and love.  According to my father, they once made out in the
back of an old chevrolet.   According to my mother their nights were                       romantic,  tender, and libidinous. According to my father - she was really           with  Rodney Dangerfield.   At night - it's dark - who can tell the difference?"
